Circuit Breaker collects minimal data necessary for leaderboard functionality:

Username: Optional name you choose when submitting a score.
Game Statistics: Score, level reached, max combo, survival time, and game mode (Normal/Hard/Zen)

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely for:

Displaying leaderboard rankings
Allowing you to compete with other players

Data Storage

Data is stored in Supabase, a third-party database service.

Your Rights

You can choose to submit your score or not, using a real or fake name. Submitted data is publicly visible on the leaderboard as part of the game's competitive features.

Children's Privacy

Circuit Breaker does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect any changes.

Software License Agreement

1. License Grant

This software and associated documentation files (the "Software") are proprietary and confidential. Subject to your compliance with the terms of this agreement, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

2. License Limits and Restrictions

You may NOT:

Copy, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the Software
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Software
Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the Software
Rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, assign, distribute, or otherwise transfer the Software or any rights granted hereunder
Use the Software for any commercial purpose
Use the Software in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Derek Schwede owns all right, title and interest (including IP rights) in and to the Software.

3. Disclaimers

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. THE SOFTWARE MAY CONTAIN ERRORS, BUGS, OR OTHER DEFECTS. THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE SOFTWARE IS WITH YOU.

NO WARRANTY IS MADE THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, OPERATE UNINTERRUPTED, BE ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

4. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COPYRIGHT HOLDER OR CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS OR SERVICES; LOSS OF USE, DATA, OR PROFITS; OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) HOWEVER CAUSED AND ON ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE) ARISING IN ANY WAY OUT OF THE USE OF THIS SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF THE COPYRIGHT HOLDER EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE, OR IF THE SOFTWARE WAS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, THE LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO FIVE DOLLARS ($5.00).

5. Governing Law

This license agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in San Francisco, California.

6. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. We may terminate your rights at any time. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies in your possession.

7. Entire Agreement

This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and the copyright holder regarding the Software and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications, proposals, and agreements relating to the subject matter hereof.
